Garlic Herb Butter

Fresh quality ingredients + a pinch of love will always result in a tasty dish.


Dressings and spreads are what gives that touch and final flavor to any dish. This Compound butter its simple to prepare and stores well. For best results use fresh herbs.

Serves: 6 to 8

Prep Time: 5 min



Ingredients:


5 sprigs of fresh parsley

4 cloves of garlic

2 tsp of Dijon mustard

1 ½ tbsp rosemary, fresh chopped (substitute basil or oregano)

4 tbsp of unsalted butter

1 tsp of lemon juice

A pinch of salt & pepper



Cooking Steps


  1. Place butter in a small microwave-safe bowl and bring to room temperature.

  2. Finely chop parsley. Peel and finely chop garlic.

  3. Stir in mustard, garlic, and parsley to softened butter.

  4. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.

For use on steaks, use the following for presentation

  • Form a log shape,

  1. Set a piece of plastic wrap, about the size of a sheet of paper, on a flat surface. Spoon herb and garlic butter into the center in the shape of a log. Roll the left and right edges in, then roll the compound butter log to completely wrap it in plastic wrap.

  2. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or freeze for 15 minutes to set the shape. Slice into round discs and serve
