Quick and Tasty Breakfast V1.0

Fresh quality ingredients + a pinch of love will always result in a tasty dish.


When it comes to breakfast, there is a misconception that its only about eggs, bacon, coffee. But there is no need to have the same basic ingredients every day. Food needs is fun, flavorful and should make you smile not only when you eat it but also when you prepare it. Open your fridge and mix ingredients you love to eat and have available. We all know we need to have vegetables, why not include them into breakfast. Try different types of cheese, sausages, you will be surprised. my rule of thumb is besides the eggs, keep the adjoining ingredients down to less than five.

Ingredients:


1 large whole egg

1 sausage - Smoked Chicken Sausage (sliced)

2 slices of bacon (sliced into large pieces)

3 asparagus ( cut into sections of 1")

1/2 onion (thick sliced)

1 tbsp. goat cheese

  1. Heat up a skillet. Add bacon and sausage. Once rendered, add the rest of the ingredients except for eggs and cheese. Continue stirring till onions are translucent. Set aside on the board you used to cut the ingredients on. Return pan to the stove.

  2. Beat the egg (for a creamy consistency, I add 1 tbsp. of heavy cream), pour into the same pan you used for the bacon..., turn heat to med-low. Add salt and pepper. Once the egg mix is not runny, fold gently into like a pocket square and turn the stove off.

To Assemble

  1. Slide the eggs gently onto the plate and scope all the rendered ingredients on top. Crumble the goat cheese on top. Get you favorite coffee or espresso and...

  2. Enjoy.
